Raffaello Sanzio

Urbino April 6, 1483 - Rome 1520, is an Italian painter of the Renaissance. He studied at the hands of Pietro Tiziano, held several workshops in Perugia, Florence and Rome, and then took over as chief engineer and supervisor of buildings with tile popes, Julius II and Leo X after him.

Is one of the classic first movement professors, combines his art between accuracy and consistency in the implementation of the lines, and has a special care for the selection of colors, it had a great influence on the art of photography until the late nineteenth century.



Rafael was a painter and a prominent engineer in the Renaissance work in the Pope Julius II, and Pope Leo X service, and both were interested in the affairs of art more than religious matters, Rafael prime architects was appointed to St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.

His paintings include Saint George and the Dragon, which is presented today at the Louvre in Paris, the worship of the Holy Trinity Museum in Perugia, Italy, the coronation of the Virgin at the Museum of Art at the Vatican.

Rafael completion of the work of many of the frescoes in the Vatican rooms such as the School of Athens; the celebration of the Holy Eucharist; Barnas, etc., and most go back to the period 1509-1514.
