Paul Cezanne
Paul Cezanne, born January 19, 1839 in Aix-en-Provence, died October 22, 1906 in the same city, is a French painter, member of the Impressionist movement, considered the precursor of post-impressionism and cubism.Through his desire to make "Poussin sur nature", he appears as a continuator of the classical French spirit as much as a radical innovator by the use of geometry in portraits, still lifes and the many landscapes he paints Ile-de-France and Provence, particularly in the Aix-en-Provence countryside.
